Hello, I’m Jo Jones.  A professional sports massage practitioner based in Brentwood, Essex.  My sports massage service uses no-nonsense, results based massage techniques that have been proven over the years to deal with various conditions the human body experiences before and after being pushed to its limits. This may be a hard training session or a race, but equally could also be the result of a body being cramped up over a computer, ongoing poor posture or a specific injury.

My massage appointments include a combination of hands on massage strokes and physiotherapy techniques such as Soft Tissue Release, Muscle Energy Technique, foam rollering and NMT (neuromuscular technique) to relieve pain and encourage release and healing.

  • I had my first sports massage with Jo whilst training for my first London Marathon (aged over 50). The training programme I was given was ok however, Jo’s knowledge on all the stretching exercises really helped.

    Three marathons on and under four hours is down to a number of people, Jo being one of them.

    I would highly recommend Jo as a Personal trainer and massage therapist whether you are just starting out or a fitness junkie.

    Whilst not being concerned about weight loss, the main goal of my time with Jo has been to just “feel fitter” and be able to do more active things without feeling exhausted. Jo created a training programme that helped me to achieve this, and also advised on equipment that I should purchase to use to train at home when not training with her.

    I have also started to use the Herbalife shakes that Jo recommended and can report that these are fantastic! I thoroughly enjoy having these for breakfast each day and have cut out mid-morning snacking as I just dont feel hungry.

  • I first saw Jo for a sports massage a couple of years ago and was amazed at the difference it made to my very knotted shoulders and other body parts. She has exceptional strength, knowledge and is passionate about her work and is cheerful and charming.

    I workout regularly as well as being a keen trekker so body maintenance is essential. No other masseur has come even close to Jo. Following a massage with her I feel relaxed in body and mind.

    Jo is also great at correcting posture and giving helpful advice on diet and exercise, so, it goes without saying I highly recommend Jo and thank her for coming to my rescue !
