Hello, I’m Jo Jones.  A professional sports massage practitioner based in Brentwood, Essex.  My sports massage service uses no-nonsense, results based massage techniques that have been proven over the years to deal with various conditions the human body experiences before and after being pushed to its limits. This may be a hard training session or a race, but equally could also be the result of a body being cramped up over a computer, ongoing poor posture or a specific injury.

My massage appointments include a combination of hands on massage strokes and physiotherapy techniques such as Soft Tissue Release, Muscle Energy Technique, foam rollering and NMT (neuromuscular technique) to relieve pain and encourage release and healing.

  • Jo was recommended to me a year ago and I have been training with her twice a week since then.

    Being in my Forties and having been told by my Doctor of the increased difficulty of losing weight post 50 due to decreased metabolism, I decided that I needed to both lose weight and gain fitness more consistently than I had done previously in my 20s and 30s. In the years before Jo, I regularly started with good intentions (normally in January!), but would then lose enthusiasm and give up within 3 months of starting a new fitness regime.

    Seeing Jo twice a week not only ensures I keep the routine going, but also means I have a professional guiding me on areas of strength, fitness and diet that I might not have considered otherwise. I personally believe Jo’s method of jointly agreeing goals with her clients and designing a strategy to reach those factoring individual preferences, lifestyle and work is a huge advantage over other Personal Trainers.

    I have got to know Jo quite well over the last 12 months and know that she takes great pride and pleasure in seeing her clients improve their lifestyles, which is a great credit to her professionalism and personality.

I have been working in the fitness industry for over 25 years as a Personal Trainer and 10 years as a Sports Massage Therapist.

I am passionate about keeping my clients healthy and injury free and the combination of Personal Training and Massage Therapy has proved to be an extremely effective way of doing this.

I am also an independent Herbalife distributor and wellness coach, offering nutritional advice to compliment any fitness plan.
