The Importance of L Glutamine

L Glutamine is an essential Amino acid found throughout the body, and most importantly where training results are concerned ,60 % of skeletal tissue is composed of  L Glutamine, It  is widely known  that during certain training sessions this drops by 50% this is one of the reasons that protein intake after exercise is so important. L Glutamine is produced by the body but if if depleted muscle wastage will occur. Another  major benefit of L Glutamine is that it can suppress cravings for toxins such as sugar and alcohol by regulating insulin and glucagon. Glucagon is a peptide hormone produced by the pancreas which is released when the concentration of glucose falls too low.
